International Students in Konya Become Trade Ambassadors
Final excitement in Konya Young Trade Ambassadors Country Presentation Competition
The final excitement was experienced in the Young Trade Ambassadors Country Presentation Competition, which was held for the second time this year by the Young MUSIAD Konya Branch and the İki Doğu İki Batı International Student Association. In the competition held for international students studying in Konya to develop commercial relations between their countries and Turkey, for students to get to know Turkey and to introduce their own countries, 54 students from 29 countries talked about products and investment projects that can be traded between Turkey and their countries with their presentations.

Making the opening speech of the program, Young MUSIAD Konya Branch President Mücahit Aydın said that 54 students from 29 countries participated in the competition. Stating that the Young Trade Ambassadors Project is an independent project developed by Genç MUSIAD in order to strengthen the commercial relations of the students who come to our country to study from different countries of the world, Mücahit Aydın said that within the scope of the project, trainings on export, marketing, presentation techniques and entrepreneurship are given to international students. is given. The first goal of the project is to establish export bridges between Turkey and their own countries by the project participant students who received the relevant training. In addition to this, bringing together successful project participant students and companies in need of foreign trade personnel exporting in Turkey is another important aspect of our project.” said.
Aydın said that the students who won a degree in the competition will come together with the international students participating in the competition from all over Turkey at the Young Trade Ambassadors Grand Meeting to be held by MUSIAD Headquarters in Istanbul on Saturday.

Stating that they have been trying to provide voluntary services such as guidance, counseling and education to international students studying at universities in Konya since 2010, the President of İki Doğu İki Batı International Student Association Murat Arslan said, “We carry out these activities on behalf of our city and our country. At the same time, we are doing it under the umbrella of UDEF International Student Association, which has associations in all cities throughout Turkey. Turkey is a country that is the cradle of civilizations. These brothers will play a role in the development of commercial, academic and political relations. Our students do not come from very rich countries. They prefer this place because our Konya is convenient. We are trying to help these brothers and sisters to complete their education by supporting them both materially and morally during their education here.” he said. Arslan also thanked MUSIAD Konya Branch President Mehmet Hilmi Kağnıcı, Young MUSIAD Konya Branch President Mücahit Aydın and MUSIAD Board Members who hosted the program.
