Camping in Tashkent from Two East Two West
A camp was organized for international students between 16-18 September at the Ministry of Youth and Sports Kibla Kayası Camping Area in the Tashkent district of Konya by the İki Doğu İki Batı International Student Association. International students studying at universities in Konya participated in the camp. Under the supervision of university volunteer camp leaders, the students had a nice weekend at the camp, where various activities, especially street games, archery, amusing and campfire, were held.
Providing information about the event, Murat Arslan, President of İki Doğu İki Batı International Student Association, said, “85 students who came to our city to study at the university, miles away from their families, attended our fraternity camp. It gave them morale before the new academic year. We would like to thank our Ministry of Youth and Sports and Konya Metropolitan Municipality for bringing this camp to our city. Thanks to these camps, our students not only have fun but also have the opportunity to learn about our culture by visiting our districts.” said.
Stating that they were satisfied with the camp, the students thanked the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Konya Metropolitan Municipality and İki Doğu İki Batı International Student Association.
